My 100th shot - Looking back: it's been a long wayWow...
Yesterday I uploaded the 100th shot here, into my DA Gallery.
Actually I am trying hard to avoid numbers and figures,
but as Exupery said adults are obsessed with numbers.
It's been a long way since first pushing the shutter of a SLR Zenit camera in 1988...
(you can see my parents' anxious faces as they look at a struggling three year old)
...buying my first digital camera - Konica Minolta DiMage Z2 - and taking up photography in 2004...
(my first steps you have never seen before)
...buying my first DSLR - Canon 450D - in August 2008...

...uploading my first shot here in October 18, 2008
(which is my late mother's birthday)...

...getting my first macro lens in December 2008...

...getting my portrait lens in September 2009...

...starting up #Ode-to-simplicity in February 2009
and launching 'Point of simplicity' in May 2011...

...and here I am with my 100th shot, nearly 4 years on DA...
